Group Homes
BCDC, Inc provides a family-like atmosphere in two 5-bed homes located in the city of Washington. They are designed to provide additional daily living supports to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Support includes training in housekeeping, personal hygiene, money management, medication administration, meal planning and social skills. One home is co-ed while the other is for males only. Each resident has their own bedroom that they can decorate, a common living room, dining and kitchen space, and access to 2.5 baths, along with a patio and outdoor space. Residents attend BCDC’s day program for employment or community integration and participate in community activities during the evenings and weekends. Both homes are owned by the ARC of NC and operated by BCDC, Inc.
